The boring path to compounding
I’m three months into teaching myself to invest, and the biggest surprise is how boring the good decisions are.
Boring is the point
The exciting moves — timing the market, chasing a hot stock — are where I lost the most. The boring ones — automating a small amount every month — are quietly winning.
The same is true of skills. Publishing one small thing a week beats waiting to publish one perfect thing a year.

Keep it boring.
